Contact: [email protected]2. The data we collectWe collect only what we need to run golf trips and side games:- Account data — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account and sign you in.
- Profile data — optional details you add, such as a profile photo and playing handicap.
- Trip and scoring data — trips you create or join, playing groups, tee times, hole-by-hole scores, match and leaderboard results, and side games ("Juice") you take part in.
- Content you post — messages, reactions and comments in a trip's activity feed.
- Technical data — basic device and app information (such as app version and device type) and, if you enable notifications, a push notification token so we can send you alerts.We do not collect payment card details, and the app does not process payments or hold money. Side games are recorded for scoring and social purposes only; settling up happens between players offline.3. How we use your data, and our legal basesWe use your data to:- provide the Service — create your account, run your trips, calculate scores and standings, and show them to other members of your trips (performance of a contract);
- send you notifications you've opted into, and service messages (consent, or legitimate interests);
- keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems (legitimate interests);
- comply with our legal obligations (legal obligation).Within a trip, your name, photo, scores and side-game results are visible to the other members of that trip — that's the core purpose of the app.4. Who we share it withWe don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers ("processors") who help us run the Service, under contract and only on our instructions:- Supabase — our database, authentication and file storage provider, which hosts your account, profile and trip data.
- Apple — for app distribution and, if enabled, delivery of push notifications via the Apple Push Notification service.We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the Service.5. International transfersOur providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.6. How long we keep itWe keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited information to meet legal obligations. Trip and scoring data shared with other members may remain visible to them as part of that trip's history.7. Your rightsUnder UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] from your account email address. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).8. Deleting your account and dataYou can delete your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing [email protected] from your account email address. We'll confirm your request and remove your data as described in section 6.9. ChildrenJuiced is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.10. SecurityWe use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls and encryption in transit — to protect your data. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.11. Changes to this policyWe may update this policy from time to time. The trip's scorer enters gross scores hole by hole. Juiced calculates nets, match play status, Stableford points and the leaderboard automatically, based on each player's handicap and the round format.What are side games ("Juice")?
Juice covers optional side games — skins, Nassau, match play, closest to the pin and more. Juiced tracks who's winning and the running result. Juiced does not process payments or hold any money — settling up is left entirely to players offline.How do I change my details or handicap?
Go to your profile and tap Edit to update your name, photo and playing details.How do I delete my account and data?
